Growing up, I was never good at school. Labeled the "lazy kid", I skipped classes, didn't do homework, and ignored my teachers. I was unsure about my future, but one thing was clear: a 9-5 job wasn't for me.

To make ends meet, I worked after school at a fast-food chain in downtown Toronto.
Earning minimum wage, I prepped food, cleaned dishes, and swept floors—working harder than most while earning little. Not born into wealth, I hustled on the side for pocket money to avoid burdening my mother. Alongside friends, I'd buy and resell shoes, and ventured into drop shipping on Amazon.

This hard work led to a revelation: business was my calling, not a 9-5 job, for time should be spent with loved ones. On my grandmother's 70th birthday, I chose presence over employment, a decision that cost me my job. After high school, I contemplated real estate but balked at taking a fifth year.

Then, by God's grace in 2019, I overheard my mom in a meeting with Greatway Advisors—an introduction that altered my path. The income enabled me to support my mom with a house purchase and allowed my family and friends the freedom to travel, controlling our time and finances.
